This is an interesting all hand made sterling silver pin or brooch that has French hallmarks and an Islamic design designed for the North African market of Morocco or Tunisia.

The brooch has the crab silver guarantee above the bigorne mark with a bug on the reverse with a French hallmark for a maker with the initials MG...but it is difficult to read and I have been unable to identify it.

The silver pin or brooch measures 2.5 inches long by 1.25 inches wide and has it's old original C closure.

The brooch is OOAK, or one-of-a-kind, and has an interesting abstract design and of Islamic calligraphy. and is a unique piece in very good used vintage condition.
